1. Apple Health Integration (HealthKit)

BrushCoach offers integration with the Apple Health app ("HealthKit") to help you centralize your dental hygiene data.

• Data Writing: With your explicit permission, BrushCoach writes your brushing session duration and timestamps to HealthKit.
• Data Access: BrushCoach does not read data from other apps within HealthKit.
• Data Sharing: Your HealthKit data is never sent to our servers or shared with any third parties. It is stored securely on your device and synced via your private iCloud account as managed by Apple.

2. On-Device Storage

All app-specific data, such as your brushing history and custom timer settings, is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData. We have no access to this information.

3. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect names, email addresses, location data, or device identifiers. There is no account creation process, ensuring your anonymity.

4. Your Consent

By using the Apple Health integration features in BrushCoach, you consent to the storage of your brushing data within the Apple Health ecosystem. You can revoke this access at any time via the iOS Settings app under Privacy > Health > BrushCoach.
